The way it can be worn as a rucksack or holdall is great but when I saw it could be unzipped into a flat 'kit dump station' I nearly dropped what I was holding in amazement. The Ultimate Kit Bag
Built Tough
The Lotus Tech Pack is made from Ripstop Nylon with Carbonate coating on both sides for superior abrasion and water resistance. Heavy duty zippers around the Lotus are fitted with reflective pulls and stored in protective garages.
Kit Dump Ready
The unit zips open from all sides and lays flat for maximum access to essential equipment. It has durable mesh pockets, sewn-in gear loops and compression straps, smooth zippers, secure shoulder and waist strap stowage, strong duffel and dorsal handles, and colour-coded zipper pulls to indicate the optimal location for easy side access.
Organised Operator
The pack has 4 exterior pockets and 7 interior pockets for easy organisation of personal gear. Items are readily visible inside the mesh pockets, which are placed over the contrasting light gray background of the Lotus interior.
Feature Full
The Lotus includes a removable waist belt and a ground cloth to protect gear as it comes out of the pack. Born to travel, the Lotus has a business card / team card holder, Velcro strip for patches and ID, and fits nicely in overhead bins.

The Lotus Tech Pack has 2 red 'contrast' handles designed for attaching to rope lines or crabs for hauling, these do not have ratings but are tough enough to be trusted for this purpose.
